True blue!

From a perception point of view, the colour blue represents loyalty and trust. Maybe that’s why police uniforms, many banks or even Facebook or LinkedIn communicate their identity, confidence and reliability by over-using various shades and tones of blue.

This year, following the NEW ORIENT trend, IKEA launched a new limited collection – True Blue.

IKEA’s designers went to India to collaborate with local craftspeople in creating new products. TheTrue Blue collection is an exclusive mix of Swedish design with Indian craft and colour.

Amazing how cool and powerful these blue tones are.

I admire IKEA for thinking ahead and re-using what we lost – the quality of hand-made products and craftsmanship.
