Marina Bay Sands

On June 24, 2010,  with the Grand Opening Celebration for media and VIPs, the Marina Bay Sands® buildings redefined Singapore’s skyline forever. Arguably one of the world’s most challenging construction projects and certainly the most expensive stand-alone integrated resort property ever built. Property includes 963 hotel rooms, shopping mall, convention centre, celebrity chef restaurants along with other dining outlets and the casino. But the most impressive is the 7,000-ton steel superstructure that connects 3 skyscrapers into one Sands SkyPark – one of the world’s greatest tourism destinations.

Sands SkyPark also features the infinity swimming pool with a length of 150 metres.  It is accessible for hotel guest only while visitors are only allowed on the observation section of the Sands SkyPark, which also stretches 200 metres  in the sky. The entire place covers 12,400 square metres and is the size of the largest aircraft carrier in the world.
