17-1463 collection

Last December I wrote that Pantone  is rising as a new lifestyle brand.

This time Pantone goes in cooperation with French Sephora.

Sephora is a chain of cosmetics stores founded in France in 1970 and acquired by Paris-based conglomerate LVMH (Louis Vuitton and Moet Hennessy) in 1997. The Sephora chain contains 250 brands, including Sephora’s own private label (cosmetic and beauty items like makeup, skin care, fragrance, bath and body, hair product, and hair and make-up tools).

The Pantone Universe’s best known product is the Pantone Matching System (PMS) with colour chips and samples. This colour chip, to be exact the Pantone 17-1463 Tangerine Tango, plays the most important role in the new Sephora Pantone collection.
