IMM 2015 | SO-HO LAB

It looks like even our new life-work spaces have completely different appearances. The interiors are more temporary, using mixed products and materials. All those small details that make our new space functional, comfortable and tidy. I could say that they’re a bit LAB looking spaces. They are clean and full of light colours.

What happened with those richly and lavishly decorated interiors? Something that you invest in? This new Millennial Generation is changing the paradigm. Living and working is not about working at the office but about working anywhere and anytime. Home is perfect – SO-HO = Small Office – Home Office. This generation is not into face-to-face meetings when they are on constant communication and it is not about big desktop equipment; a small carry-with-me laptop is the best working tool. The new generation’s lifestyle is now showing its new interior needs, products, functions and redefinitions of traditional rooms.
