Ambiente 2013: Connected life

“Connected” – is there anything not connected today? The concept of “disconnected” does not exist anymore. At least, that’s what the young generation thinks.  Despite the fact that Ambiente’s core business is not consumer electronics, many companies showed new products that meet the growing demand for connection.

German company WMF introduced their newest digital cooking system – Cook Assist. The “WMF Cook Assist” cooks almost by itself due to sensor and app. The sensor monitors the cooking process and communicates via Bluetooth to the chef’s (your) smartphone. This app-controlled cooking assistant signals on your phone if there is something to do. But only then, so that you have free time for other beautiful things in life: relax, read, or just be together with your loved ones.

Another “connected” service was launched by Soehnle. With their new Web Connect and Web Connect Analysis product collection, Soehnle is setting new standards in weighing precision, data security and, for those connected, simplicity in use. Body values such as weight or body mass index and body fat can be saved long-term at a specially developed website my.soehnle.com and any  developments or changes will be displayed in clear progress charts. This creates transparency with regard to the success of your personal fitness goal. Up to 8 members of the same household can use Web Connect individually.
