IFA 2013: TV art

Many of our daily objects will redefine their function in the upcoming digital era. One of these products is TV. Yesterday TV was an object that dictated carefully managed programmes and times. But, the problem is that we don’t like this “dictation”. Freedom of choice, a rich portfolio of films, series and other programmes is becoming the new TV that can be watched on smart phones and tablets.

But, what about TV? The future TV is getting a completely different dimension. It is now not only a window to our digital services, connections and entertainment, but also a very important art statement.

The new category are giant TVs on easel stands, hanging on a beater, leaning against the wall like piece of glass or even bent like a boomerang.
