IAA 2013: Extreme tyres

Last week was the première of the newest Hollywood production “Rush”. Rush is about a re-creation of the merciless 1970s rivalry between Formula 1 rivals James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Personally, I like watching Formula 1 contests. All leading automotive companies and their suppliers challenge their new materials, technology and supreme engine innovations. The task is high and all is run through the most extreme conditions. Everything with a positive test result on the circuits will finally find its way to our consumer’s car. One of these materials (products) is tyre. The smell of burned tyres is even associated with this kind of sport. All big market leaders are trying to find the golden innovation that withstands any weather condition and keeps us as safe as possible.
